The Lords' Resistance army is active again in northern Uganda. On March 7 LRA guerrillas killed 12 people and wounded another three dozen. The biggest attack was on a refugee camp in Kitgum district. On March 4 a Ugandan government spokesman said the LRA kidnapped two priests from the Catholic mission at Opit.
